What you'll be doing?
- ➡️ You will assist in developing and maintaining our partner’s media, education, and eCommerce platforms;
- ➡️ You will manage the end-to-end life cycle for software application development, developing back-end and front-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance;
- ➡️ You will maintain and improve the functionality of existing systems and develop new features to ensure quality and accuracy;
- ➡️ You will implement unit tests and document software implementations and testing;
- ➡️ You will help with our client’s customer-facing websites that are built using React, Gatsby, Graphql and Shopify, as well as several in-house custom platforms that leverage React with TypeScript, Serverless / AWS Lambda, and AWS Amplify;
- ➡️ You will be analyzing user requirements and translating them into system designs.
About you
- 👨🏻💻 You have at least 3 years of experience in software development;
- 👩🏽💻 You’ve been exposed to an extensive tech stack (like React, Gatsby, Graphql, Styled Components, TypeScript, Shopify, Node.js, Handlebars, Serverless, Git, Docker), with a strong expertise on React and Gatsby;
- 👨🏻💻 You have excellent communication skills, especially in English - we are looking for at least a C1 proficiency, both written and spoken;
- 👩🏽💻 You come with knowledge of cloud computing preferably with AWS (Amazon Web Services) services - AWS Lambda & AWS Amplify;
- 👨🏻💻 You have a BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree;
- 👩🏽💻 You have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for producing high quality, bug-free code;
- 👨🏻💻 You are motivated, proactive, and constantly looking for ways to improve the product.
