What you'll be doing?
- 📊 Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement.
- 📊 Conduct in-depth variance analysis on company profit and loss statements, highlighting key drivers of performance.
- 📊 Utilize advanced Excel and Google Sheets functionalities to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- 📊 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
- 📊 Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- 📊 Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to best practices.
- 📊 Actively participate in team meetings, offering constructive input and contributing to the achievement of team goals.
- 📊 Proactively identify potential issues or discrepancies in financial data and escalate as necessary.
- 📊 Follow established procedures and guidelines while also demonstrating the ability to challenge assumptions and propose alternative solutions.
About You
- 📈 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 📈 Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in [industry/sector].
- 📈 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as lookups, pivot tables, and macros) and Google Sheets.
- 📈 Strong understanding of financial principles, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- 📈 Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- 📈 Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 📈 Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- 📈 Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
