What you’ll be doing?
- ➡️ You will work on converter engineering, taking raw log files from DJ performances and converting them into sets readable by our software for editing;
- ➡️ You will dive deep into the logic of the converter to effectively solve errors as they occur;
- ➡️ When new logic is needed, you'll collaborate with the head engineer to architect and implement solutions;
- ➡️ You will evaluate log files to spot logical issues, ensuring that recordings from famous DJs are error-free before conversion into editable sets;
- ➡️ You will identify and address new edge cases discovered in the sets;
- ➡️ Familiarity with log files in a JSON-like format is crucial as these are central to our engineering process.
About You
- 🔍 You come with a great level of English, both written and spoken - ideally C1;
- 🔍 You possess strong logic skills and enjoy thinking through complex problems;
- 🔍 You have a keen interest in converter engineering and problem-solving, rather than just writing code or building features;
- 🔍 Java skills are a must-have for this role - we’re looking at 4+ years;
- 🔍 Experience with a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Ableton or Logic is highly beneficial, but not a must;
- 🔍 You must have access to a Mac, as this is essential for our development environment;
- 🔍 Previous QA experience is considered a plus, showcasing your ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
