Your role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own an entire product domain and shape its strategic direction. You will balance customer needs, business priorities, and technical opportunities to ensure we invest in the initiatives that create the greatest long-term impact.
You won't just deliver features, you'll define where your product domain is going, anticipate future needs, and work across Product, Engineering, Claims, Operations and Commercial teams to build scalable solutions that support grape's growth. While continuing to own the end-to-end product lifecycle, you'll ensure day-to-day execution and long-term strategic direction continuously reinforce one another.
What you'll do:
- Own and continuously evolve the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product domain, balancing short-term priorities with long-term strategic direction.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery and execution, owning the full product lifecycle from discovery and validation through delivery, measurement and continous optimization.
- Own investment decisions across multiple initiatives, making strategic trade-offs between customer value, business impact, operational efficiency and technical feasibility.
- Drive strategic alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Claims and Commercial teams, connecting product domains to deliver cohesive customer and business outcomes.
- Define success metrics for your domain and use customer, product and operational insights to continuously evaluate performance and evolve product strategy.
- Build strong relationships with customers, brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure product decisions are grounded in real user needs.
- Clearly communicate product direction, priorities, rationale, trade-offs, risks and outcomes, creating alignment across teams and functions.
- Mentor junior Product Managers and contribute to continuously improving product management practices and ways of working.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience owning a product domain and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic product decisions.
- Proven experience shaping the strategic direction of a product domain and managing multiple initiatives across short- and mid-term planning horizons.
- Deep expertise in product discovery, customer research and product strategy.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate customer, operational and commercial insights into product strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning senior leaders, engineering teams and business stakeholders around shared priorities.
- High autonomy and confidence in making independent product decisions within your domain.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
Big Plus:
- Experience working within the Swiss or Liechtenstein insurance and benefits market, ideally with personal insurance (KTG/UVG/UVGZ).
- Experience building or scaling digital insurance products.
- Experience with AI, automation or workflow optimisation.
- Experience within Corporate Health Management (BGM).
- Experience with UX/UI design.
- Fluent French and/or Italian.
