🚀 Your role:

As a Backend Engineer at grape, you will be at the heart of our innovation, collaborating with a dynamic, interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement robust backend functionalities for our web-based products. Our Engineers are empowered to explore new ideas and have a significant impact on the company's roadmap and vision.

🔍 What you’ll do:

    • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design, develop and implement backend features for our web-based product
    • Build and maintain integrations with our customers' systems
    • Shape the technical architecture and DevOps of our platform
    • Define technical requirements and contribute to the product roadmap in collaboration with the team
    • Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback

🛠️ What you’ll need:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, preferably for fast-scaling SaaS products, with a strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
    • Experience with GraphQL or REST APIs and integrating APIs from third-party providers
    • Familiarity with continuous integration practices, testing methodologies, and a commitment to writing clean, secure, organized, and thoroughly documented code
    • Strong knowledge of relational databases
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills, along with creative problem-solving abilities
