G&L Geißendörfer und Leschinsky GmbH was founded in 2005 by Hans W. Geißendörfer and Alexander Leschinsky in Cologne. Since then, as a streaming service provider, we have helped more than 150 customers, including the major German broadcasters ARD and ZDF, to distribute their media content quickly and securely. 
With around 60 employees and more than 20 freelance experts, we put our heart and soul into our work at the forefront of technology.

To support our Sales & Marketing team, currently consisting of 5 colleagues, we are looking for a Senior Account Executive (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Account Executive, where your contribution will be vital in forging strong client relationships based on trust, reliability, and professionalism. In this role, you will spearhead the identification of new business opportunities and engage with potential clients to drive revenue growth significantly. Your expertise in sales, combined with a transparent and approachable demeanor, will make you an ideal ambassador for our core values.

Your tasks

    • Significantly contribute to revenue growth by bringing in new business
    • Proactively seek new business leads through both cold outreach and responding to incoming inquiries
    • Conduct thorough research on potential clients and industry trends to tailor your approach to their specific needs
    • Utilize your industry experience to effectively communicate and negotiate with potential clients
    • Maintain a balance of warmth and professionalism in client interactions
    • Provide honest assessments of how our solutions align with client needs through active listening
    • Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting the true value of our services authentically

Your profile

    • At least 3 years of sales experience in the streaming media industry
    • In-depth understanding of content distribution and streaming media technologies
    • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 60% of the time) to meet business objectives, if possible good connections to major cities in terms of train connections and airports
    • Ability to take initiative and leverage extensive sales experience, especially as our sales department is in a phase of growth and development
    • Exceptional communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex ideas
    • Proven track record in achieving and surpassing sales targets
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, engaging with technical and sales teams
    • Fluency in English and German, both written and verbal
