Who we are 

Genomines is a young biotechnology company based in Paris and Saclay, specialized in sustainable extraction of Nickel from plants. Our Team has already been active for 3 years, focusing mainly on research and development. The mission of Genomines is to usher in a new era of sustainable mining by using genetically enhanced plants to extract metals from soil (agromining). Through synthetic biology and cutting-edge technology, we harness the power of nature to create bioengineered plants that can extract metals while decontaminating soils and creating cleaner lands for agriculture. Our ultimate goal is to become the world's first carbon-neutral mining group, using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods to extract the precious resources our society needs. 

What We're Looking For

Genomines is currently experiencing a phase of rapid expansion, and our People department is structuring and growing. In this context, we are recruiting our next Office Manager to ensure an all-encompassing, seamless people experience at Genomines. As the Administrative and Office Manager, you will play a central role in the smooth functioning of daily life at Genomines. Based in our offices in the heart of Paris, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and operational activities of our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of Genomines, by working directly with experienced members of our support team. I. General Team Support

    • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members
    • Manage orders for the Technical and Operational teams, including tracking and inventory management
    • Handle expense reports and reimbursement processes
    • Assist in event planning and meeting coordination

II. Office Management

    • Ensure effective management of the work environment
    • Maintain and organize office equipment, including laptops, phones, and accessories
    • Manage invoices from external suppliers and oversee budget allocations

III. Administrative Support

    • Process payments and manage accounts
    • Provide support for new hires and assist with human resources tasks, such as contract updates
    • Manage platforms and tools: Alan, Swile, shipment,etc
    • Manage daily mail correspondence and filing activities
    • Handle email accounts and facilitate document signing for contracts with third parties


    • Education: Minimum BAC+2, ideally in BTS Executive Assistant or a related field (BTS Assistant Manager, Bachelor in Management)
    • Proficiency in French and English is mandatory
    • Demonstrated organizational skills
    • Proven rigor in tasks and responsibilities
    • Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments

It is mandatory to be proficient in both English and French for this position
