Given the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to be fully studio based and we are unable to offer remote or hybrid working. We can however provide a comprehensive relocation support package as part of any offer, should you need to relocate.

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

This role will provide operational support across Health, Safety and Facilities, acting as the deputy to the Head of Health, Safety & Facilities (Head of HSF) for day-to-day matters. The purpose is to maintain safe, compliant, and well managed workplace environments by coordinating operational FM services, supporting EHS compliance activity, coordination of contractors, and resolving issues independently within agreed limits.

The role will play a key part in enhancing the Studio as a creative and attractive environment, contributing proactively to workplace experience initiatives, studio presentation, and continuous improvements that support Frontier’s culture and values.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Oversee daily soft FM activities to maintain a safe, well-presented, and functional studio environment.
  • Act as deputy point of contact for stakeholders, contractors, canteen services, and onsite support teams regarding facilities issues, as well as Site first Point of Contact and department representative in absence of Head of HSF.
  • Support implementation of H&S policies, procedures and risk assessments by conducting inspections, organising documentation, and ensuring routine tasks are completed.
  • Carry out and maintain risk assessments for low/medium risk activities.
  • Support investigations into incidents, near misses, and hazards: gathering data, talking to staff, documenting findings, and proposing pragmatic corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance documentation, audit records, and training data to ensure regulatory expectations are met.
  • Act as an operational liaison with onsite teams, security, cleaners, and contractors around health & safety issues; escalate regulatory or complex matters promptly.
  • Support environmental data collection (e.g., utilities, waste) and assist in soft FM sustainability initiatives.
  • Handle day-to-day stakeholder queries on FM and H&S matters and provide clear, informed guidance.
  • Line-manage the Soft Facilities team, ensuring wellbeing, development and performance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience coordinating FM or H&S operational activities in a corporate or campus-based environment.
  • Experience supervising or managing staff.
  • Working knowledge of building services, compliance routines, workplace safety practices, and contractor coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks independently.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes and propose practical solutions.
  • Confident communicator able to influence peers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during operational issues or incidents.
  • Comfortable giving advice, coaching less experienced colleagues, and sharing expertise
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) or progress toward NEBOSH General Certificate.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

  • Knowledge of environmental data collection or ESG-related tasks.
  • Familiarity with FM or H&S software systems (e.g., helpdesk, audit tools).
  • Understanding of food safety or canteen operations
