Backed by world renowned investors such as Balderton Capital who led our 2021 $19m Series A, the Forecast AI-native platform represents the most advanced technology ever applied to managing projects, resources and finances.

Our platform automates busywork, surfaces best practices, predicts outcomes, guides projects to success, and most importantly empowers every team member to do their best work. Forecast is the ultimate upgrade for project teams and professional services organizations. Technology doing what it does best, so humans can do what they do best.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to join us on our journey!

Are you our new Frontend Engineer?
We are in the process of overhauling our front end and so we are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Engineer who will be responsible for Forecast's scaffolding, design and implementation of our modern in-browser application. You will make sure our FE application is stable, secure and responsive. You will be responsible for ensuring FE best practices are rolled out and adhered to across the entire engineering team.

This is an opportunity to build a front end properly, with commitment from the business to make this happen.

Aside from the front end, our wider tech stack is cloud native and running on AWS - we use Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, ReactJS, Aurora (MySQL on Amazon), DynamoDB (NoSQL), and AWS Lamba (Serverless).

What you'll do

    • Oversee the implementation of a design system and react component library, using existing component library (RadixUI / React Aria)
    • Ensure our product front end is highly performant, responsive and accessible
    • Run front-end code reviews
    • Define and govern front end security best practices
    • Run reviews to guarantee the structure and design of the applications follow the standards and guidelines
    • Optimise JavaScript implementations
    • Generate documentation about UI architecture, interactions and behaviours with REST APIs or any other mechanism to process data (e.g. GraphQL, etc.)
    • Document and assist in defining functional and technical requirements of different applications
    • Evaluate new frameworks and tools that can be integrated into the existing applications without breaking previous implementations
    • Implement front-end development workflows: building systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
    • Guide performance testing and solve issues as they appear

What you'll ideally have

    • Experience in building and optimising a world class responsive front end architecture for a global product
    • Experience managing and implementing a component library and design system
    • Proven experience in improving front end experiences
    • Proven experience in developing global digital products
    • A track record of implementing best practices from a FE Architecture perspective
