We are looking for an experienced and passionate Copywriter (all genders) with experience in the French market to join our Creative Team until January 2025 as maternity leave cover.
In this position, you will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging and effective French copy, as well as translations for a variety of onsite and offsite content formats, all while maintaining the flaconi Tone of Voice.
Your role
- You will work on long copy (editorial and commercial landing pages, translating / transcreating already-existing content), as well as short copy (headlines, sublines and CTAs for banners and homepage placements)
- App copy: Writing release notes, banner copy and user-centric content pieces
- Newsletters: Collaborating with our CRM and Graphics team to create country-specific newsletter content
- In addition, you will translate SEO pages from German to French
- Ownership of guidelines and quality checks: You maintain flaconi’s brand voice throughout all copywriting touchpoints by constantly referring to and developing our Language Guide, Tone of Voice and certain wording catalogues. Based on these, you ensure that our stakeholders’ copy is accurate, consistent and meets our guidelines
- Cross-team projects: Working with various stakeholders within flaconi to support their initiatives with your copywriting and translation expertise
Your profile
- Professional experience in the field of copywriting / editorial writing / translation / transcreation
- French language skills at native level with profound knowledge of French grammar and spelling rules, as well as fluent English
- You are able to create copy that is clear, concise and engaging, and have an affinity for lifestyle and beauty topics
- Great self management skills: ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects within time constraints and with strong attention to detail
- You are a team player with strong communicative skills

- Full transparency: For this role, we have a salary band between 44,000€ and 53,000€ gross per year. The salary that we will offer you will always be within this span and is based on the skills that you show during the recruitment process.
