Senior Embedded Systems Engineer – Tech Lead (Edge AI)

Location: Linkoping, Sweden
Team: Onboard Autonomy

You’ll lead the development of real-time, safety-critical onboard software running on embedded GPU platforms. This role sits at the intersection of perception, autonomy, and flight systems, with direct ownership of performance, reliability, and deployment on Jetson-class hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Implement real-time perception and ML inference pipelines
  • Optimise AI workloads on Jetson Orin (CPU/GPU profiling and tuning)
  • Build and maintain low-latency video pipelines (CSI/MIPI, GStreamer)
  • Integrate autonomy modules with the flight stack
  • Harden software against vibration, thermal, and power constraints
  • Contribute to safety-critical onboard systems and reviews

  • Linux internals, multithreading, concurrency
  • CUDA, TensorRT, ONNX
  • GStreamer, OpenCV
  • GPU profiling and optimisation
