HR Administrator
HR Administrator is responsible for supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle by assisting with onboarding, employee records management, HR administration, payroll coordination, and benefits support. Maintain accurate and confidential employee data in HR systems, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and provide first-level support for employee queries. Coordinate routine HR processes, documentation, and compliance activities while escalating complex employee relations matters to senior HR team members. Facilitate a positive employee experience through efficient administrative support and seamless HR operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Employee Integration

Assist with onboarding logistics (scheduling, welcome packs, coordination of first-day materials).

Ensure completion of basic employee records and help with initial data entry in HR systems (Sage).

Support new hires on their first week with basic informational queries.
Employee Records & HR Administration

Support maintenance of employee files, ensuring paper and digital documents are filed correctly and securely.

Perform routine data entry into HR databases in compliance with data privacy standards (GDPR).

Help process simple standard lifecycle paperwork.
Payroll & Benefits Coordination

Assist in gathering and organizing payroll-related inputs (timesheets, leaves, receipts) for verification by senior team members.

Address basic routine queries about standard benefits (enrollment timelines, standard provider contacts).
Employee Relations Support

Serve as the initial reception for general employee questions.

Handle or route basic administrative requests (verifying standard employment letters, directing employees to current policy forms) and escalate any employee issues to senior HR staff.

Help distribute policy updates and track signature or policy acknowledgment completion.

Support compliance monitoring (e.g., checking that mandatory security or compliance training has been completed).

Head Of HR, Business manager, IT Support, New Hires, Local HR Team.
Skills Required:
- 5+ year of HR or administrative experience.
- HRIS & Systems: HR administration basics, foundational understanding of digital record management. Eagerness to learn HRIS databases (Sage).
- Compliance & Generalist: 5+ years of general office administration or HR assistant experience. High level of accuracy in data entry and confidentiality awareness (GDPR).
- Analytics & Reporting: Basic analytical skills; ability to gather data and generate simple lists or reports. MS Office 365 (Word, Excel), document management.
- Communication & Empathy: Active listening, welcoming demeanor, and helpful, polite communication style.
- Ownership & Problem Solving: Reliability, consistency in executing repetitive tasks, and open to feedback and learning.
- Stakeholder & Process Management: Customer-oriented approach when assisting internal employees and basic organizing skills, attention to details, teamwork.
Education
-
Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration.
