The Role

The Senior Operations Manager (APAC) is responsible for the technical execution and project management of customer implementations across the [Continent] region. This role combines technical expertise with project leadership, focusing on customer onboarding, deployment, and ongoing functionality. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Senior Operations Manager (APAC) will ensure that the continent specific team meets all deliverables, driving excellence in project management, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and addressing technical challenges for strategic accounts within the region to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

    • Manages and leads the continent/region reporting to them from both an operational and strategic perspective.
    • Has overall responsibility for the successful operation of the continent/region’s deliverables.
    • Deals with all capacity planning activities.
    • Sets strategy and takes key decisions for the success of the continent/region
    • Works with senior leadership to set strategic goals for their team.
    • Responsible for the governance of the continent/region. Acts as a point of escalation for both the team, internal and external stakeholders.

    • Project Management and Execution  
    • Oversee the development and execution of project plans, ensuring tasks, milestones, risks, and issues are effectively managed.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related queries, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Lead multiple customer projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project scope and timelines in collaboration with sales, engineering, and product teams.
    • Help the team to identify creative and robust solutions to address project risks and issues, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables. Support customer calls where necessary

    • Technical Implementation and Support 
    • Manage the technical onboarding and deployment process for customers, with a focus on seamless installations of software solutions.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery.
    • Act as a technical resource, providing insights and addressing challenges related to software, networking, and system integration.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication 
    • Work closely with sales, product development, and engineering teams to support project goals and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide regular project updates, distribute meeting notes, and maintain transparency with all stakeholders.
    • Liaise with the VP of Operations to report on project status, issues, and opportunities for process improvements.

    •  Documentation and Knowledge Management 
    • Ensure that all technical and project documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the development of best practices for project management and technical processes within the region.

    • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build strong relationships with regional customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
    • Travel up to 30% to meet with customers across the region, facilitating successful project implementations and ongoing support.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning by organizing training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Profile and Skills

    • You have 8+ years experience in in a technical program management or solution engineering role working with projects in a global matrixed organisation.
    • Strategically leading and motivating a team. Managing team performance, KPIs etc. Enabling the One Team + Team Builder​ approach.
    • Proactive self-starter with the capacity to engage in multiple initiatives concurrently. Adaptable to changing project requirements and able to anticipate and address potential issues promptly.
    • Keen interest in Everseen's technology solutions, comfortable discussing them at a high level, and staying updated with the latest developments.
    • Strong technical proficiency in Linux, Docker/Podman, networking, and automation tools such as Ansible.
    • Proficiency with project management software, including Microsoft 365, Jira, and Teamwork.
    • Demonstrates initiative, drive, and self-motivation in taking full ownership of the function / specialism, ensuring accountability and fostering a no-blame culture conducive to continuous improvement.
    • Possesses in-depth problem-solving skills and exercises good judgment, capable of navigating and resolving complex situations effectively.
    • Highly organized with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in project execution and documentation.
    • A relevant degree qualification is preferred.
    • A Project Management qualification (Prince2, PMP etc.) is preferred.
    • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, project kick-offs, or other project-related activities, which may be up to a maximum of 30% of your working time.
