The Role

AI/ML Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML solutions that solve business problems and enhance product capabilities. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and production-ready machine learning systems. Independently owns larger features or components and translates research ideas into efficient solutions with practical business impact. Continuously improves model performance, scalability, and operational excellence through innovation and engineering best practices.

Job Responsibilities

Leads R&D efforts, develops scalable AI systems, and contributes to strategic problem-solving across teams.
Owns and maintains major components and complex features of a project.
Drives research initiatives and develops innovative algorithms.
Implements advanced algorithms with awareness of tradeoffs.
Coaches team members on ML concepts, best practices, and procedures.
Occasionally collaborates cross-functionally on high-impact projects to integrate AI technologies into products and services
Demonstrates a strong understanding of how components and features impact the business, and ensures work is aligned with overall project outcomes.
Stay updated on the latest AI trends
Write and review research reports and experiment results.

Tech Stack

Languages: Python, C/C++, CUDA
AI/ML & Computer Vision: PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, TensorRT, ONNX
Tools & Infrastructure: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Data: Real-time video processing, RTSP/video streaming and cloud platforms

Profile and Skills

A minimum of 7+ years in a similar role managing complex technical projects.
Deep understanding of ML/AI architectures and applications.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field is preferred
Strong in experimentation, scalability, and real-time systems.
Advanced problem-solving and engineering judgment.
Understands the latest innovations in machine learning and computer vision
Ability to design complex experiments and to communicate them clearly to other team members.
Ability to design and develop components addressing the needs their research identified.
Implement algorithms and solutions presented in papers.
Advance projects to production (from prototype/research phase to production phase)
Posseses advanced engineering skills.
Strong analytical skills, able to identify trends and make decisions based on data.
Knowledge of statistics and data analytics.
