As a Cloud Validation Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based solutions. What you’ll do (Main responsibilities)

    • As a Senior member of the team, you will conduct functional and non-functional testing to validate the performance, reliability, and usability of our cloud-based applications and services. 
    • Perform regression testing to identify and resolve any issues that arise during software development cycles. 
    • Process and analyze data to support testing activities and identify potential areas for improvement. 
    • Collaborate closely with the development teams to understand software requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of test cases. 
    • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of cloud-based applications and services. 
    • Design and implement automated tests using tools such as JMeter, Robot Framework, Selenium or Python. 
    • Write clear and concise technical documentation to communicate test procedures, results and any issues encountered. 
    • Review and analyze specifications to ensure alignment with test requirements and identify any potential gaps or inconsistencies. 
    • Provide support and assistance to operational teams in troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
    • Build an indepth understanding of Everseen's offerings and collaborate on and lead testing projects.

Collaborating With

    • Everseen’s Development Teams, DevOps Teams, ICT Teams, Product Teams and Operations.

Profile and Skills

    • You will have 8 to 10 years experience within software testing.
    • Experience with test automation using: JMeter, RobotFramework, Selenium or Python.
    • Good know how of: Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Blob Storage and ElasticSearch.
    • Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Understanding of cloud computing technologies and services.
    • Strong communicator organized and thrives in an environment of mutual respect, openness and collaboration.
    • Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent collaboration skills, both within the team and with development teams. You are comfortable leading projects and initiatives internally.
    • You have previous experience of mentoring team members.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to software validation, performance testing and automation techniques.

Additional Skills

    • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Knowledge of tools like Kibana for data visualization and analysis.
    • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
