About the team 

We are the Marketing Team. We are driving growth in a sustainable way to become the leading marketplace for gamers. We obsess over merging data-driven optimization, entertainment, and creativity. Responsibilities

    • Craft and execute a comprehensive editorial strategy that aligns with the business goals and audience engagement targets.
    • Take full ownership of content quality, ensuring all editorial articles meet high readability, relevance, and SEO performance standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and manage editorial calendars, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact content.
    • Ensure all articles maintain consistent voice, context, and clarity, aligning with the overall editorial and brand strategy.
    • Oversee thorough fact-checking processes to ensure the accuracy and credibility of published content.
    • Contribute to the content pipeline by writing editorial pieces, reviews, and commentary on gaming news and trends.
    • Manage and optimize budgets for editorial operations, ensuring cost-effective content production.
    • Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing editorial team, focusing on growth, content innovation, and engagement metrics.

Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of experience leading editorial teams in content-driven environments, preferably gaming or entertainment-related.
    • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills, with proven experience in creating engaging, reader-focused content.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
    • In-depth knowledge of gaming culture, industry history, and evolving trends, with a passion for staying ahead of developments.
    • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, from writers to content strategists, while scaling operations and performance.
    • Familiarity with SEO best practices and data-driven content strategies to boost organic traffic and reader retention.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other departments, including marketing, product, and business development teams.
€35,652 - €39,216 a year
*Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
*We’re an international team and our business language of choice is English. Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
