About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary 6-month full-time contract. This role will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll across multiple international locations, ensuring compliance with local legislation, internal policies, and payroll deadlines.

The successful candidate will have strong payroll experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently with external payroll providers, HR, Finance, and employees across different countries.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end processing of international payrolls across multiple countries.
  • Work closely with external payroll providers to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
  • Review payroll inputs, including starters, leavers, salary changes, bonuses, deductions, benefits, and statutory payments.
  • Ensure payroll data is accurate and maintained in line with internal controls and data protection requirements.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees, HR, Finance, and third-party providers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Audit support as needed
 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience processing international payrolls across multiple countries. UK, Portugal and UAE experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with external payroll vendors
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with payroll data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across HR, Finance, and external providers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
