We are seeking a skilled IT DevOps Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining our Microsoft Data Fabric and data management tools. This role requires expertise in Python and Microsoft platforms, including Azure, Power BI, and other related technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data management tools and solutions using Microsoft Data Fabric.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data integration and deployment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
- Automate data processing workflows using Python and other scripting languages.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data management systems.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data infrastructure and applications.
- Document processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference.
Overall requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proven experience in DevOps, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Microsoft platforms (Azure, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Data Fabric or Snowflake and related technologies.
- Certification in Azure or other relevant Microsoft technologies.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
