Easol is the leading all-in-one ‘experience commerce’ platform built to power experience businesses including festivals, wellness retreats, food and drink, sports and adventure trips. Easol has deep roots in experiences. The platform was founded by former festival founders, Lisa and Ben Simpson in 2017, after the husband and wife team endured challenges and frustrations first-hand while setting up and growing their own experience business including Rise, Europe’s biggest Snowsports and music festival, and Beyond Adventures, a series of adventure travel experiences in remote locations such as the Sahara desert and the Swedish archipelago.

The Role

As a Growth Lead you will play a crucial role in driving Easol’s growth opportunities, owning and developing strategies to generate and nurture qualified B2B leads. 

This will initially be a stand-alone, hands-on role working directly with the Co-Founders - CEO and Chief Creative Officer - with the opportunity to build and lead an internal growth team made up of performance marketing, design and development.

This role requires a proven individual with a track record and passion to achieve growth in early-stage (series A), B2B / SaaS start-up businesses. You aren’t afraid to move quickly and experiment, defining and executing growth plans, optimising the revenue funnel, and ensuring a strong focus on both the US and UK markets.

Responsibilities

    • Working closely with the leadership team to define and implement the growth plans for Easol
    • Responsible for planning and building a scalable and repeatable model for demand generation, considering the specific needs and dynamics of both the UK and US markets
    • Implementing account-based marketing strategies that not only target high-value UK accounts but also penetrate key markets in the US, combining sales and marketing expertise
    • Continuously develop creative experiments to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement, and retention
    • Analysis of product, sales and marketing data, enabling all growth initiatives to be based on data-driven conclusions
    • Assessing and implementing ways in which to shorten our sales and onboarding cycle for creators
    • Analysis of customer behaviour and driving growth through feedback to the product development team to enable features to drive further growth
    • Deep understanding of the customer base to design a marketing approach that resonates with the target audience

Qualifications and Requirements

    • Strong experience in B2B growth / performance marketing related roles in a SaaS environment
    • Previous experience scaling up a business from Series A to Series B 
    • A very good understanding of both the UK/EU and US markets
    • Curiosity and passion about all things lead acquisition, growth and account based marketing
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sense of data
    • Experience using data analysis and processing tools
    • Highly comfortable with tools and technologies - e.g. hubspot, mailchimp, and analytics platforms including GA and FB Business Manager
    • The ability to move quickly and experiment
    • Experimental at heart; embracing failure to use results and draw on actionable conclusions
    • You are highly empathetic and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

£100,000 - £120,000 a year
