We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our NetOps Team, maintaining Hybrid Cloud-based SaaS platforms. Our infrastructure spans several colocations around Paris and Germany and public clouds (AWS/GCP/OVH).
We are evolving towards a Pure IP infrastructure, incorporating IPv6 deployment. You’ll design new architecture, set up labs to validate solutions, and prepare for international deployment using NetOps and IaC. Routine operations include deploying private interconnections, maintaining production networks, and supervising the backbone.
At Diabolocom, you will:
- Co-architect infrastructure evolution
- Develop labs to validate implementations (gns3, Containerlab)
- Oversee the network and vision for its development
- Recommend technical choices and defend recommended solution
- Interface with customer teams for interconnections
- Define KPIs to measure network performance
- Maintain Datacenter, Cloud and WAN networks
- Troubleshoot issues and problems
What we are looking for:
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Mastery of L2/L3 networks and MP-BGP/OSPF/IS-IS/MPLS LDP protocols
- Experience with Cisco or/and Juniper or any other major network vendor (Cisco like or Juniper like approach)
- Security-conscious with an appetite for optimization and automation
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal skills
Technical scope:
- IaC network scripting and automation (Ansible, Python, Go)
- Zero Trust Infrastructure, Auto Provisioning
- IPsec VPN, Wireguard, Host-Based firewall, Juniper SRX platform
- Routing on a Host (FRR, Bird, ExaBGP, GoBGP)
- IPv4/IPv6 MP-BGP, MPLS LDP networks
- L2 network and MLAG management (Cisco)
- SNMP, Syslog monitoring, Streaming Telemetry (Prometheus)
- IPAM maintenance, DWDM network maintenance
- Edge routing policy periodic evaluation
- Mastery of Juniper, Arista, and Cisco solutions
