Diabolocom builds AI-first, cloud-native contact center infrastructure designed for high availability, low latency, and global scale. As both a software provider and a telecom operator, we combine a fully owned carrier-grade voice backbone with a programmable CCaaS platform that supports real-time, high-volume communications across 60+ countries.
Our architecture integrates proprietary AI models purpose-built for customer interactions and covers data enrichment, intent detection, call summarization, transcription, quality scoring, workflow automation and more. These services run on a modular, service-oriented stack accessible through APIs and engineered for multi-language, multi-region deployments.
We operate a distributed infrastructure optimized for deterministic performance, observability, and resilience, supported by deep CRM integrations, intelligent routing engines, and a high-throughput outbound dialer that enables sub-second decisioning.
A dedicated Diabolocom Research team keeps us at the forefront of technological innovation, designing new proprietary systems - from advanced AI pipelines to telecom optimization - that help our clients gain a competitive advantage in the market.
With more than 20 years of telecom and software engineering experience, Diabolocom offers engineers the opportunity to build and scale enterprise-grade systems that blend AI, cloud infrastructure, and mission-critical communications.
About The Role:
We’re looking for a System Administrator to join Diabolocom’s Infrastructure team in Paris. This is a hybrid role combining internal IT/infrastructure support and data center operations. You’ll work closely with network engineers and SREs, helping us scale and maintain our physical infrastructure as we migrate to Kubernetes-based setup using Dragonfly network topology and high-end hardware (e.g., AMD EPYC Turin, recent generation network hardware).
The role is perfect for someone early to mid-career, technically curious, and passionate about hardware, infrastructure, staying up to date with the latest trends in servers, GPUs, and networking gear.
Work Schedule:
- Because part of the work involves data center operations performed outside of business hours, the role includes planned evening and night interventions, typically up to two times per week.
- Most maintenance windows currently start between 22:00 and midnight and usually finish between 01:00 and 03:00, but can take up to the morning in rare cases.
- When night work is not required during a given week, working time is rebalanced with regular daytime presence in the office, ensuring a standard weekly workload in line with French labor regulations.
- Given the expected number of night hours, the position is classified as a night worker role under applicable labor regulations and Diabolocom’s internal policies. Appropriate rest periods and compensations are provided accordingly.
- Occasional company-paid travel to Germany may be required to support infrastructure deployment projects, particularly data center setup in the Frankfurt area, including hardware installation, connectivity setup, and testing.
What You’ll Do:
1. Data Center Operations
- Support deployment and maintenance of hardware in our data centers (maintaining ZIP, proactively finding replacement for failing components, troubleshooting hardware issues)
- Handle cabling, racking, and hardware troubleshooting
- Perform upgrades and hardware testing (CPU/GPU, storage, network devices)
- Be on-site for planned maintenance or incident response.
2. Internal IT/Infrastructure Support:
- Set up workstations and laptops for new hires
- Support office network, hardware, and internal IT operations (basic system or access issues, account management, inventory management etc.)
- Assist in hardware procurement, evaluation, and improvements (researching on specifications, .finding options, validating with HoI, handing to accounting team to buy)
- Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure team on ongoing migration to Kubernetes and Ceph
- Stay up to date with hardware trends and propose improvements.
Who You Are:
- Engineering or technical background
- Based in Île-de-France and available for on-site work
- Comfortable with evening/night shifts; the role carries night worker status
- Willing to travel to Germany for occasional paid infrastructure deployments
- Fluent in English
- Passionate about infrastructure, networks, and hardware
- Hands-on, fast learner, and a true geek - you might have a home lab, built your own NAS, or experimented with servers/networks in your spare time.
Nice To Have:
1. Previous experience in a similar role:
- Datacenter Operations Specialist
- Network Engineer
- System Administrator
- Technical Support Specialist
2. Familiarity with:
- Basic networking (cabling, switches, IP configs)
- Linux environments
- Virtualization or containerization (VMs, Docker, etc.)
- Understanding of server components (CPU, RAM, SSD, GPU) and their compatibility
- Windows/Mac ecosystem in order to troubleshoot and fix users’ issues.
Why Join Us:
- You’ll benefit from a complete onboarding to get to know our product, our teams and our culture
- You’ll have a first choice IT equipment
- Lunch vouchers :11 €/day on your Swile card
- Team building events to destinations like Porquerolles, Corsica, Marrakech, Djerba... 😎
- Work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects
- Be part of a fast-growing international team
