CSM Rijeka is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join our expanding fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement.

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of the engine room and other machinery equipment.

Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily engine room operations

Supervise maintenance and repair of main engine, auxiliaries, and machinery

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules

Monitor fuel, lube oil, and machinery performance

Lead engine room watchkeeping and manage engine crew

Ensure safety, pollution prevention, and compliance with regulations

Experience in repairs and dry docking is required

Experience with a multicultural working environment.

Holder of a valid COC (STCW Reg III/2) with verification.

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Effective English communication

Safety culture and mindset. 

 

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.

Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Minimum Experience in Rank 4 months with Electronic Engine type (ME or RT Flex)

Experience on Electronic engines is advantage

Experience with cargo gear [Crane maker NMF 320MT SWL]
