CSM Indonesia is looking for self-motivated and skilled Able Seamen to join our expanding Chemical Tanker fleet. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Operate cargo-related equipment such as IG systems, pumps, valves, and hoses.

Perform duties in compliance with chemical handling safety procedures, PPE requirements, and MARPOL/ISGOTT guidelines.

Conduct routine deck maintenance, including chipping, painting, greasing, and minor repairs.

Handle and maintain mooring lines, fenders, and anchoring equipment.

Participate in mooring and unmooring operations safely and efficiently.

Stand helmsman and lookout watches during navigation.

Maintain safe watchkeeping practices in accordance with STCW requirements. 

Ensure understanding of chemical hazards, MSDS, and emergency procedures.

Holder of valid COP (STCW Reg III/5) .

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.

Experience with multicultural working environment.

Effective English communication
Safety culture and mindset.

 

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.

Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months]
