Tea Master

Reports to: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:

· Meticulously curates, blends, and brews tea, ensuring optimal flavor profiles

· Sourcing quality leaves, educating guest and maintaining tea-serving traditions

· Prepare and serve various types of tea to guests

· Key focus on tea education, explaining menu items to guests and ensuring guests are comfortable and satisfied

· Manage and maintain inventory of tea leaves, brewing equipment and other supplies

· Provide excellent customer service and ensure optimal guest satisfaction

· Create and develop unique and innovative tea blends

· Comprehensive knowledge of tea flavor profiles, origins, preparation and presentation

· Train and supervise team members on proper tea preparation and customer service skills

· Adhere to health and safety regulations when handling food and beverages

· Stay up to date with industry trends and new tea varieties

· Provide an attentive and memorable experience for guests you interact with

· Provides an excellent guest drinking experience and ensures the profitability of the assigned outlet

Profile:

· Education/specific studies or certifications – Tea Sommelier or Tea Master Experience in/or similar role at least of 3 years

· Knowledge of different tea types and their brewing methods

· Ability to create unique tea blends

· Experience in operating tea-making equipment and tools

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

· Willingness to continuously learn and improve tea-making skills and knowledge

· Experience in high-end luxury environment providing exceptional and memorable service experience

· Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure

· To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

· Good command of written and spoken English & Arabic is a prerequisite

Length of contract :

6 months on / 2 months off
