CSM Indonesia is looking for self-motivated and skilled Fitters to join our expanding Chemical Tanker fleet. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS

 

The careful handling of all power tools, equipment and machinery in their area of responsibility and during the execution of the various tasks assigned to him.

Overhauling, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical equipment

Maintaining the working area clean, safe, and handling tools and equipment with care.

Adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during work activities

Participating in emergency drills and responding to actual emergencies as per the Muster List

Adhering and complying with all Company Policies and Procedures, Manuals and Directives

Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that

Holder of valid COP (STCW Reg III/5) 

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position

Experience with multicultural working environment
Good communication skills
Effective English communication
Safety culture and mindset

 

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.

Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months]

Contract Benefit: competitive salary
