JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION

 

Assists the Chief Cook and maintains the cleanliness of the galley, mess rooms, and accommodation areas.

Serves meals during regular schedule in the messrooms.

Assists in provisions handling and storage.

Holder of Messman Certificate (as per MLC requirements)

Holder of valid STCW training certifications required for the position

Holder Food safety/hygiene training certificate 

Experienced in multicultural environment.

Adequate English language skills with safety-focused mindset.

 

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

 

Minimum experience requirements: 8 months in Rank on the same type of vessel.

Experience in trading area USA and Australia is recommended.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Contract Duration [9 months +/- 1 months]

Contract Benefit: competitive salary

Terms and condition as per CBA applicable
