Job description :
The Assistant Financial Accountant onboard the cruise ship Manara will provide crucial support in managing the financial aspects related to cruise operations. This role involves assisting with financial record-keeping, expense management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations during the voyage.

·       Financial Records: Assist in maintaining accurate financial records specific to cruise operations on the Manara.
·       Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
·       Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies specific to cruise finances.
·       Financial Reporting Support: Provide support in preparing financial statements and reports tailored to cruise ship operations.
·       Audit Assistance: Assist in preparing documentation and information for external audits specific to cruise finances on board the Manara.

Requirements :
·       Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or working towards one);
·       Basic understanding of cruise ship-specific accounting practices and financial regulations during the voyage;
·       Proficiency in cruise ship-specific financial software and systems, including Otalio and MXP is a plus
·       Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry specific to cruise finances;
·       Strong organizational and time management skills;
·       Effective communication and teamwork skills tailored to cruise ship operations.
