Senior Butler
Reports to: Head Butler

Responsibilities :
·       Leadership and Mentorship:Assist the Head Butler in leading, guiding, and mentoring a team of Butlers to deliver unparalleled service to cruise ship guests.Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills in guest relations, etiquette, and service standards; 
·       ​Guest Services:Oversee the fulfillment of personalized services for high-profile guests, including organizing special events, arranging private dining experiences, and addressing unique requests.Collaborate with the Head Butler to anticipate and meet guest needs, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience; 
·       ​Suite Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the suites, ensuring they are always in pristine condition and ready for guests' arrival. This includes coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff; 
·       ​Team Coordination:Collaborate with the Head Butler to coordinate daily activities and assignments for the butler team, ensuring efficient service delivery.Act as a point of contact for Butlers, providing support, guidance, and resolving operational challenges; 
·       ​Quality Assurance:Conduct regular inspections of suites and guest areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.Assist in addressing and resolving any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally; 
·       ​Concierge Services: Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, offering recommendations, arranging transportation, organizing special celebrations, and providing assistance with any queries or concerns; 
·       ​Communication and Coordination:Collaborate with the Head Butler to act as a liaison between guests and various shipboard departments, ensuring effective communication and resolution of guest requests.Communicate regularly with the Butlers to relay information, updates, and guest preferences; 
·       ​Continuous Improvement:Collaborate with the Head Butler to identify areas for improvement in guest services and butler operations.Provide valuable input to enhance team efficiency and guest satisfaction; 
·       ​Problem Resolution: Proactively address any issues or complaints raised by guests, striving to find prompt and satisfactory solutions while maintaining high level of professionalism and discretion; 
·       ​Confidentiality:Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests' personal information, requests, and any other sensitive matters; 
·       ​Safety and Security: Adhere to ship safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of guests and their belongings. Report any security concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate ship personnel; 
·       ​Training and Development: Stay updated on ship amenities, services, and policies to provide accurate information to guests. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role​​ .

·       A minimum of 5-years’ experience as Senior Butler or similar role, preferably in a luxury ship and/ or luxury hotel setting; 
·       ​Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent verbal skills for guest interaction. Knowledge of Arabic and any additional languages is a plus; 
·       ​Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs and preferences; 
·       ​Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with VIP guests and provide personalized attention; 
·       ​Passionate for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests; 
·       ​Physical stamina and ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying items; 
·       ​Understanding of shipboard safety and security protocols and the ability to ensure compliance is a plus.​ 

Length of contract:
6 months on / 2 months off
