CSM Rijeka is looking for self-motivated and skilled seafarers to join Cruise fleet of Columbia Shipmanagement.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATION

 

Overall responsible to report to the Master all matters regarding the vessel, the crew and the passengers.

Responsible for the maintenance, safety and good appearance of the vessel and her equipment.

Ensures that the vessel complies with all safety regulations and provisions according to SOLAS requirements.

In co-ordination with the Hotel Manager follows the Company’s policies regarding Hygiene and ensures that all “sensitive” areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly and that all rules and regulations regarding this issue are maintained accordingly.

 

Holder of a valid COC (STCW Reg II/2) with verification.

Holder of valid STCW certifications required for the position.

Good knowledge of on-board training requirement and needs for the crew. 

Experience with a multicultural working environment.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Effective English communication.

Safety culture and mindset.

 

VESSEL'S SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

 

Substantial experience as Staff Captain on large cruise ships, with Azipod propulsion systems

Experience in worldwide itinerary.

 

CONTRACT TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Contract Duration [4 months +/- 1 months]
