Reporting to Entertainment Manager
Responsible for Lead and support onboard entertainment and activity experiences
Scope of Responsibilities
The Activities Host plays a pivotal role in delivering a vibrant and memorable onboard experience. This individual is responsible for planning, promoting, and executing a wide range of entertainment and recreational activities that align with Villa Vie’s brand image, safety protocols, and resident expectations.
Core Duties
· Guest Engagement & Experience Delivery
o Serve as the face of onboard entertainment by creating a welcoming, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere for residents.
o Host and master daily activities, themed events, games, and special programs with enthusiasm and professionalism.
o Foster meaningful relationships with residents to personalize their experience and encourage participation.
· Program Execution & Coordination
o Collaborate with the Entertainment Manager to design and implement a dynamic calendar of activities tailored to diverse interests and demographics.
o Ensure all activities are executed efficiently, with proper setup, materials, and equipment prepared in advance.
o Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled events to oversee setup and engage early with participants.
· Team Collaboration & Communication
o Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of entertainment programs, including dining, housekeeping, and guest services.
o Provide accurate and timely updates to residents regarding activity schedules, changes, and special announcements.
o Maintain open communication with teammates to support a positive and productive work environment.
· Safety, Compliance & Standards
o Uphold Villa Vie’s health and sanitization protocols, ensuring all activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
o Monitor resident well-being during activities and respond appropriately to any concerns or incidents.
o Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all assigned equipment and consumables.
· Resident-Centric Culture
o Demonstrate empathy, attentiveness, and adaptability in responding to resident needs and preferences.
o Promote inclusivity by ensuring activities are accessible and enjoyable for individuals of all ages and abilities.
o Actively seek feedback to improve programming and enhance resident satisfaction.

· Program Development
o Experience in planning and executing recreational or entertainment programs.
o Knowledge of activity trends and ability to tailor offerings to diverse audiences.
o Creativity in designing engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate activities.
· Communication & Teamwork
o Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
