Reports to: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

Responsibilities:
·       Have full knowledge of Shisha offerings and hot beverages 
·       Profound knowledge of Shisha contents and preparation methods 
·       Control stocks for daily use in the Bar to ensure service requirements are met 
·       Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling Shisha equipment and Storage 
·       Ability to create new flavors, or other mixings 
·       Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to guests 
·       Assist guests regarding Shisha menu items in an informative and helpful manner 
·       Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards 
·       Ensure a clean, safe and well maintained work station and ability to interact, explain and sell the product confidently and provide an overall exceptional experience to guests 
·       To ensure a timely and safe delivery of shisha to guests from time of order through to delivery 
·       Promote and sell Shisha products for optimum sales 
·       Available to answer questions, queries effectively, ensuring guests needs are met, seeking guidance from floor staff and supervisors for complaints and issues when necessary 
·       Clean and reset the Shisha before and after every use 
·       Prepare sufficient Shisha heads for the operation and make sure all flavours on the menu are available 
·       Prepare the charcoal before the operation  
·       Courteously taking Shisha orders from guests and preparing  
·       Assist with service of food and beverage orders as requested by supervisor  
·       Manage and provide shisha requisition forms for supervisor / manager prior to orders  
·       Maintain your station in accordance with standards at all times  
·       Serve all shisha requested promptly and accurately as requested and in line with standards of service  
·       Arrange the Shisha station during the closing time and make sure there is no lighted charcoal left behind  
·       Ensure that all guest communications are polite and helpful and exceed guest expectations  
·       Maintain all bar and restaurant equipment and glassware in a clean and polished manner using the correct method and equipment.  

Profile :
·       A good team player but self-motivated and integrity in dealing with others incorporating great customer service. 
·       ​3 years' experience of working with shisha in a 4/5 star hotel environment 
·       ​Interact positively and professionally with guests and colleagues 
·       ​Highly responsible & reliable with robust interpersonal and problem solving abilities 
·       ​Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment 
·       ​Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times 
·       ​Good command of written and spoken English & Arabic is a prerequisite

6 months on / 2 months off
