Head Butler
Reports to: VIP Services Manager

Responsibilities :
 ·       Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of butlers, including a Senior Butler and Butlers, fostering a culture of excellence and exceptional service.Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills in guest relations, etiquette, and service standards; 
·       ​Guest Services: Provide personalized services to high-profile guests, organizingspecial events, arranging private dining experiences, and fulfilling unique requests.Anticipate guest needs and preferences to ensure a seamless and memorable experience; 
·       ​Suite Management:Oversee the preparation and maintenance of suites, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail.Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address any issues promptly; 
·       ​Communication and Coordination:Act as a primary liaison between guests and various shipboard departments, ensuring effective communication and resolution of guest requests.Collaborate with the Senior Butler to coordinate daily activities and assignments for the butler team; 
·       ​Training and Development:Work closely with the Senior Butler to conduct regular training sessions, focusing on service standards, etiquette, and attention to detail.Provide ongoing support and mentorship to enhance the team's professionalism and guest service capabilities; 
·       ​Quality Assurance:Conduct regular inspections of suites and guest areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally; 
·       ​Logistical Support:Collaborate with the Senior Butler and the ship's concierge to arrange shore excursions, dining reservations, and other guest activities.Ensure seamless transitions for guests during embarkation and disembarkation; 
·       ​Problem Resolution: Proactively address any issues or complaints raised by guests, striving to find prompt and satisfactory solutions while maintaininga high level of professionalism and discretion; 
·       ​Confidentiality:Maintain strict confidentiality regarding guests' personal information, requests, and any other sensitive matters; 
·       ​Safety and Security: Adhere to ship safety protocols, ensuring the well-being of guests and their belongings. Report any security concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate shippersonnel; 
·       ​Training and Development: Stay updated on ship amenities, services, and policies to provide accurate information to guests. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role​​:

Profile :
·       A minimum of 5 to 10-years’ experience as Head Butler or similar role, preferably in a luxury ship and/ or luxury hotel setting; 
·       ​Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent verbal skills for guest interaction. Knowledge of Arabic and any additional languages is a plus; 
·       ​Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs and preferences; 
·       ​Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with VIP guests and provide personalized attention; 
·       ​Passionate for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests; 
·       ​Knowledge of etiquette and cultural considerations; 
·       ​Understanding of shipboard safety and security protocols and the ability to ensure compliance is a plus.​
