Functions and Responsibilities, but not be limited to:
· Manage marine stores, initiate orders for materials and equipment via AMOS.
· Administer inventory and ordering system, reporting to Chief Engineer and Staff Captain.
· Train new vessel crew on AMOS procurement procedures.
· Coordinate with agents, CCS office, and stakeholders for all deliveries and landings.
· Maintain organized storage, update spare parts and consumable stores.
· Review purchase requisitions, ensure RFQ details are complete and justified.
· Receive CCS supplies stores, label and store them correctly within 72 hours.
· Control received parts against purchase orders in the AMOS system.
· Keep AMOS system updated on spare parts and purchases.
· Forecast supply and demand, prevent overstocking and stockouts.
· Collaborate with Chief Engineer and Captain to forecast maintenance plan and spare parts cost.
· Conduct weekly inventory control of selected spare parts groups.
· Submit monthly progress reports on component inventory to Chief Engineer and Technical Manager (ashore).
· Register new equipment in AMOS and remove decommissioned equipment.
· Control issuance of stores and spare gear.
· Maintain clean and tidy stores, ensuring long-term spare gear is well-preserved.
· Provide supplier qualification reports.
· Coordinate landings and transportation with shore staff.
· Consolidate onboard consumable orders quarterly.
· Prevent damage to spares and tools due to poor handling or exposure.
· Track accuracy, purchase, return, and defective items for quality control decisions.
· Conduct weekly calls with shore-side technical purchasing specialist.
· Inform technical purchasing specialist and technical manager of urgent orders and justify cause via email.
· Organize and document hotel technical maintenance meetings.
Position Requirements
- Chief Officer License
- Minimum 6 months sea-time in 2nd Officer positions
- Valid STCW certificates
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English language

- · Experience working on operating cruise vessels
- · Good command of spoken and written English
