Accommodation Repairman

Reports to : Staff Chief Engineer

Job Description :

· Maintenance and servicing of all fixed equipment and machinery in Hotel, Club and Crew accommodation.

· Maintenance and servicing of floors, carpets and ceilings in Hotel, Club and Crew accommodation.

· Maintenance and servicing of furniture, upholstery excluded.

· Maintenance and inspection of accommodation according to AMOS System and checklists.

· Carry out maintenance requests as required.

· General technical maintenance including overhaul of galley, laundry, pantries, etc.

· Maintenance and repairs of all types of pipe lines systems in the accommodation area.

· Familiar with the vessel’s key and lock system including fabrication of keys.

· Perform duties according to senior officer’s instructions.

· Responsible for the accommodation work shop.

· Maintenance and testing of lifeboat engines.

Requirements :

· USPH and SHIPSAN Certification

· Medical Fitness (As per Flag Requirements. Max. validity – 2 years);

· Basic Safety (BS) STCW A-VI/1.2;

· Crowd Management (CM) STCW A-V/2.3;

· Crisis Management & Human Behaviour (CMHB) STCW A-V/2.4;

· Direct services to Passengers (DSP) STCW A-V/2.2;

· Security Awareness (SA) STCW A-VI/6.1;

· English – Proficiency;

Length of Contract :

9 Months on / 2 Months off

Embarkation : October 2024
