CoreTech is a medium-size, niche, cyber security company working across National Security, Law Enforcement and Defence. We are experts in a range of technical domains including cyber security, vulnerability research, software development, rapid prototyping, radio frequency and embedded systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person with relevant technical experience (developed either through work or a keen personal interest) andProject Management or tech leadership skillsets to work alongside our technical and business teams.
Our work is varied, covering disciplines such as vulnerability research, capability development and scientific research, so each day will be different as we deliver tailored, unique solutions to challenging problems. A technical or engineering background with experience of working within this technical domain would be highly advantageous, and it is the perfect environment for you to develop skills that will help grow your Project Management and client engagement career.
You will manage the full lifecycle of your projects, usually either starting with a client problem, or following on from initial experimentation or research by one of our teams. Our portfolio ranges from short research tasks to 12-month+ projects, so you will need to be comfortable tailoring your delivery approach. You will work alongside our technical leadership team, be supported by our PMO and report directly to our Account Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with technical leads to understand and manage the complex technical solutions demanded by the client and the seamless delivery of projects to meet these
- Scoping and planning projects, involving all relevant stakeholders and evolving the plan throughout a project, as the project’s research outcomes invariably change the direction.
- Advising on and providing technical input into proposals, submissions and bids
- Coordinating project resourcing and staff allocation across the teams including balancing utilisation and schedule impacts for the flawless execution of projects
- Communicate and coordinate project activities within the project team and ensure that priorities are developed and known
- Leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering these to agreed time, cost, quality and scope
- Be the primary interface between the project delivery team, the customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate the production and submission of technical project outputs, management information, status reports and project documentation to clients and internal stakeholders
- Supporting and assisting our Account Directors to manage and build customer relationships
- Become an active participant CoreTech community, sharing best practice, supporting & mentoring others, and looking to continually improve our delivery processes
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance service delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with staff at all levels in an organisation
You will have:

- Excellent relationship management skills, being able to motivate and guide stakeholders and teams to develop strong working relationships
- Experience in SAFe Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Ability to work across project teams comprising both client and internal teams
- Solid understanding of business, finance and personnel management techniques
- A flexible and positive attitude and an ability to deal positively with change
- The ability to plan and prioritise and the persistence to carry tasks through to conclusion
- An ability to gain an accurate and competent knowledge of new technologies
You may also have
- Experience of working in National Security, Law Enforcement or Defence
- A technical background in one or more of the areas we work in
- An existing security clearance
