Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employee
Managing benefits-related compensation
Calculate net salaries, ensuring accurate application of taxes, deductions, and withholdings
Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll calculations and tax reporting
Maintain and update payroll records and general ledger accounts
Prepare payroll-related accounting documentation, reports, and schedules
Track and manage employee leave balances, including paid and unpaid leave
Process overtime payments, bonuses, and statutory or ad hoc deductions
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies (e.g., missed payments, incorrect calculations, holiday adjustments)
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and compensation
Support internal and external payroll audits
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll policies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role
Strong understanding of payroll processes and related activities
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Good command of English and Russian (both written and spoken)
Strong analytical skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Nice to have:

Experience working with 1C ERP system
