Cirrus Logic is seeking a Procurement Senior Manager with responsibility for managing the corporate procurement function and partnering with appropriate functional, technical and legal personnel to negotiate pricing and develop contractual agreements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global personnel to ensure alignment of the purchasing function with key strategic corporate objectives.
- Develop and execute advanced negotiation strategies that support business objectives; includes structuring and negotiating complex contractual agreements.
- Complete contract review and negotiation activities; conduct financial analysis of supplier proposals; manage key business terms, expiration dates, amendments, etc.
- Deliver sourcing recommendations based on comprehensive competitive analysis; may include financial analysis, supplier quality and/or technical capabilities, availability and assurance of supply, etc.
- Manage supplier performance and relationships; must be able to develop relationships and interface with supplier representatives to ensure supplier commitment.
- Develop metrics and industry benchmarks to define and measure key performance indicators. Develop standard reporting templates to be delivered on a regular basis as required by management.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- BS degree and 15+ years of experience in procurement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong negotiation skills and experience
- Prior experience in the semiconductor industry
- Prior team leadership experience and demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal and customer relationship skills
- Highly motivated & works well under pressure
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- SAP software experience
- Preferred - APICS Certified
