Cirrus Logic’s Supply Chain Division is seeking a summer intern to work with the foundry operations team to understand and support various aspects of wafer foundry operations, including PO placement, capacity planning, and WIP analysis.

Responsibilities:

    • Assist in Wafer Foundry Operations: Work with the foundry operations team to understand and support various aspects of wafer foundry operations, including PO placement, capacity planning, and WIP analysis.
    • Quality Control: Utilize and develop control processes to ensure that wafers are delivered on-time and within capacity limitations.
    • Process Optimization: Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying areas for optimization and efficiency enhancements.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, compile data, and generate reports for analysis.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning, and quality assurance, to support operational objectives.

Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong interest in silicon foundry operations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Familiarity with MS Office tools, SAP/Oracle is desired
This position will be located in Austin, Texas. The internship will be onsite. This opportunity is available for the summer semester only. It is available only to students currently enrolled, maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or above, and who will be returning to school for at least one semester following completion of his/her internship. Candidate must be available for full-time employment during the internship.
