Duties

    • Develop robust and scalable test methodologies to test software; design test strategies for projects to address every aspect of test (Black box, White box, Stress, Long duration, System test etc.); communicate with cross-functional teams and represent the embedded software test team in discussions and reviews; work with the embedded software test team to come up with automation plans to increase the efficiency of the team; implement tests during the pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of the product; find issues and triage/debug them with software teams; present results to product owners, internal customers, and software developers to assist in resolving defects; lead and mentor test engineers through all aspects of test in a product cycle and ensure all software is thoroughly tested.

Responsibilities

    • Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus seven years of experience is acceptable or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields with three years of experience. In all cases, experience must include: two years of testing experience; two years of experience with Python; two years of experience debugging hardware. In addition, the position requires the ability to perform real-time debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes and proficiency with Python.
