The HRIS Systems Administrator supports day-to-day HR system operations in SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring accurate data maintenance, timely processing of HR transactions, and operational support across the employee lifecycle. This role focuses on execution, data integrity, and operational support, working closely with HR Business Partners, IT, Payroll, and HRIS leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Data Administration
- · Perform employee data uploads and mass updates (e.g., hires, job changes, terminations)
- · Maintain organizational structures including divisions, departments, locations, and positions
- · Support position management activities (create, update, close positions)
- · Ensure data accuracy and resolve data discrepancies
- Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support
- · Support onboarding activities and system actions for new hires
- · Execute onboarding-related transactions and troubleshooting
- · Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure smooth day-one readiness
- · Debug transactional issues and escalate configuration issues as needed
- Operational Reporting
- · Create and maintain ad hoc and operational reports
- · Support audit, compliance, and data validation requests
- · Provide data extracts for HR, Payroll, and Finance teams
- System Support & Issue Resolution
- · Act as first-line support for HR system questions and issues
- · Troubleshoot transactional and data-related issues
- · Coordinate with HRIS Analysts or IT for configuration or integration issues
- · Document procedures and standard operating processes
- Process & Governance Support
- · Follow change management and data governance standards
- · Support HR cycles through administrative execution
- · Assist with testing during system updates or releases as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of HRIS or HR operations experience
- Hands-on experience administering SuccessFactors (Employee Central preferred)
- Experience with position management in SuccessFactors
- Familiarity with onboarding modules and workflows
- Strong experience with data uploads and data validation
- Understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes
- Ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented transactional work
- Strong Excel skills (data validation, formatting, troubleshooting)
- Comfortable working within defined processes and controls
- Nice-to-Have: Exposure to reporting tools (SF Report Center) & experience supporting payroll-adjacent processes
