Play a critical role within a major accounts management team to significantly impact design wins and revenue growth at key customers, and ensure the customer is delighted with our products and support provided by the factory and field sales teams. Influence product direction by Interfacing with customer engineering teams and internal development teams to help drive new product definitions with key customers.
Responsibilities
Work with the VP of Sales - Major Accounts to develop sales strategies aligned to account objectives
Act as liaison between the customer, quality and supply chain on related issues (EOLs, PCNs, FACRs, etc.)
Act as the voice of the customer within the factory
Active involvement and preparation ahead of pricing negotiations, assistance in account strategy plan creation and follow up/closure on behalf of the Account Team
Conduct analysis and product reports as needed by field sales managers to drive growth (these reports could be supported by our BI tools as well)
Participate in on-site meetings with customers for business reviews, pricing negotiations in support of the Field Sales Manager, or work with the customer to resolve quality or manufacturing issues.
Work with Inside Sales to own OTD performance and forecast accuracy, coordinating across Field Sales, Product Marketing, Sales Operations and Supply Chain.
Work with Inside Sales to own weekly revenue gap analysis, coordinating across Product Marketing and Supply Chain, and interfacing directly with customers as required
Work with Inside Sales to complete analysis of customer demand, through contract manufacturers forecast to monitor trends, alignment changes and review directly with the customer (S&OP)
Required Skills and Qualifications
BS or MS in engineering or closely related discipline and 5-10+ years of experience in PC technical sales, applications engineering, business development or product marketing.
An enthusiast who has a strong passion for audio and computing technologies
Strong presentation skills, verbal communication and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Prior experience successfully working with engineering teams and business teams
Tenacity and attention to detail
Strong negotiation, organization and time management skills
