Cirrus Logic is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Solutions team in a unique role that bridges our internal and external-facing sites and system integrations, where your work will make a positive impact across both new and legacy solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive technical thought leader with strong communication skills, a practical approach to solving problems, and a passion for growing their expertise in software development and user experience. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full stack web applications deployed on cloud infrastructure, along with enhancements and integrations for existing platforms including our CMS, DAM, CRM, and custom tools
- Collaborate with content designers, solution engineers, and stakeholders
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility to provide a consistent user experience across all platforms
- Contribute to code reviews, providing feedback to improve code quality and ensure adherence to best practices
- Maintain and improve existing systems by addressing performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and scalability issues
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the codebase, suggesting pragmatic solutions that balance innovation with operational needs
- Participate in Agile-like workflows, breaking down tasks, estimating timelines, and communicating progress effectively
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, applying new knowledge to improve development practices
- Problem solve with independent research into internal and external technical documentation, plus seeking help from colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry experience in full-stack development
- Expertise in progressive enhancement, design systems and UI engineering
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-design stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with stakeholders for timely delivery
- Experience with the following programming languages, frameworks, and tools: JavaScript and TypeScript | Bash or alternative shell scripting language | git | Node.js | Gulp, esbuild, or alternative full stack JavaScript tooling framework | Next.js, SvelteKit, or alternative meta-framework | Docker
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions)
- Modern CMS solutions with GraphQL APIs (Hygraph, Contentful)
- Issue tracking (Jira)
- Trunk-based development methodologies
- Amazon Web Services (CloudFront, S3, ECR, EKS, WAF)
- Kubernetes and Helm
- Hugo static site generator
- Experience with Scala or Golang app development
This position is located in Edinburgh, UK.
This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
