Cirrus Logic's Mixed Signal Product Division is seeking an experienced haptic tuning engineer to join our high performance team of engineers supporting our boosted haptic amplifier products and algorithms. You will play a key role in getting design wins in laptops, mobile products, and more.

Responsibilities

    • Win and maintain customer accounts by tuning their end products, developing customized demos, quantifying haptic performance, and demonstrating software tools
    • Provide technical support for customers and FAEs by solving problems, answering product questions, and hands-on debugging
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams around the world to support customer requests. 
    • Collaborate closely with application engineers and software teams to define, implement and validate new tools and firmware features
    • Drive the development of promotional demos for new products and features
    • Partner with Marketing teams to promote new products during customer visits and conferences 
    • Lead customer and field team technical trainings
    • Autonomously handle and prioritize tasks with strong sense of ownership and high sense of urgency

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • BS in Electrical Engineering or similar fields, with 3+ years experience in the industry
    • Strong hands-on experience tuning algorithms to enhance customer listening experience
    • Understand physics principles of force, velocity, and acceleration
    • Understand transducer modelling
    • Experience evaluating products with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, Audio Precision analyzers, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
    • Understand digital signal processing algorithms and techniques
    • Strong ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
    • Proven experience debugging customer issues
    • Effective interpersonal skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • Experience working with cross functional teams and customers 
    • Experience with the requirements of the PC and mobile markets
    • Passion for haptics technology
    • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
