Job description

    • As a Global Business Controller, you will be part of the Founder & Owner’s Office, supporting financial analyses, reporting, and performance tracking across the organization. You will gain exposure to group-level topics and senior leadership decision support through company-wide and cross-departmental initiatives. The day-to-day supervision of the team is provided by the senior project manager.
    • Support group-level business controlling, performance monitoring, and management reporting.
    • Coordinate and align multiple controlling- and performance-related initiatives across business functions.
    • Support strategic and operational decision-making through analyses, financial models, and clear recommendations.
    • Track and follow up on the execution of initiatives by the management team, ensuring accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
    • Monitor business and financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively propose improvement actions.
    • Support the communication and implementation of the company’s vision and strategy from a financial and performance perspective.
    • Drive process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements in controlling and reporting.
    • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, leadership, and external partners.
    • Prepare presentations, concepts, and analyses for senior management and ownership.
    • Ensure structured documentation, approval, and review flows for financial and management materials.
    • Document and distribute clear meeting summaries with actionable next steps.
    • Collaborate closely with other members of the Owner’s Office.
    • Perform additional tasks as required to support leadership and business priorities.

Qualifications

    • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field
    • 3-6 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, ideally in business controlling or financial audit (Big4 background is an advantage but not a must)
    • Basic understanding of holding structures and group-level financial processes, or strong motivation to learn
    • Knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP is a plus)
    • Solid accounting foundation and controlling mindset
    • Experience or strong interest in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
    • Interest in financial process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements
    • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders in a professional, structured environment
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluent English and Hungarian, with clear and concise communication; French is a plus
    • Proactive, curious, flexible, and pragmatic, with a hands-on, can-do attitude
    • Ability to build effective working relationships across teams and functions
