About the role:

The Growth Director will spearhead our efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the web3 ecosystem and beyond for our consumer-orientated products (specifically, Lens Protocol, Family and Connectkit).
This position requires forming strategic alliances, increasing our products’ presence in the market, and fostering growth among users, partners, and developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development, and a deep understanding of web3, and distribution product partnerships.


    • Partnership Development: Seek out and establish strategic partnerships with other blockchain and web3 products, technology providers, and relevant organizations to drive mutual growth. This involves conducting ongoing research, attending industry events, and networking with relevant communities and identifying new white spaces.
    • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to identify ecosystem needs and opportunities for new or improved product offerings via partners.
    • Financial analysis and forecasting: Analyze the financial and resourcing investment viability of potential deals and forecast future growth KPI projections.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape for our products.
    • Data analysis: Analyze data to inform market share, future strategies and optimize performance by actively driving and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Large Scale Negotiation and Deal Closure: Develop and own strategy process and framework for key partner verticals. Proactively source and lead negotiations with potential partners and clients, ensuring deals are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and financial goals. Manage a pipeline of deals and partners independently.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
    • 6+ years proven experience in business development at a tech company, with at least 2 years of experience in Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency industry.
    • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the Web3 ecosystem.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade high-level stakeholders.
    • Understanding web2 and web3 consumer trends - behaviors, preferences, and expectations of users within these distinct internet paradigms.
    • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing growth strategies.
    • Highly organized and capable of autonomously managing multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, adapting to rapidly changing dynamics.
    • Relationship building and networking.

    • Hungry yet humble, and wants to lead by example.
    • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment.
