Job Overview:

The Growth Manager will drive our efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the web3 ecosystem and beyond for our consumer orientated products (specifically, Lens Protocol, Family and Connectkit).
This position requires forming strategic alliances, increasing our products’ presence in the market, and fostering growth among users, partners, and developers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development, a deep understanding of web3, and distribution product partnerships.

Responsibilities:

    • Ecosystem Partnership Development: Collaborate with existing ecosystem applications as a Project Manager to foster business development projects and integrations. Act as main conduit across ecosystem builders devising ecosystem-specific growth strategies by connecting the dots across various Lens applications and tools to facilitate multi-platform growth and coordination.  Proactively seek new opportunities with other blockchain and Web3 products, technology providers, and relevant Web2 organizations to enhance our ecosystem's capabilities and reach.
    • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to identify ecosystem needs and opportunities for new or improved product offerings via partners.
    • Builder/Founder Ecosystem Partnerships: Oversee and cultivate robust relationships with up-and-coming entrepreneurs and projects in the web3 consumer space within the Lens ecosystem. Act as a conduit for essential product feedback and insights, positioning Avara’s consumer products as leading tools for these innovators.
    • Financial analysis and forecasting: Analyze the financial and resourcing investment viability of potential deals and forecast future growth KPI projections.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape for our products.
    • Data analysis: Analyze data to inform market share, future strategies and optimize performance by actively driving and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
    • 3-4+ years experience in business development or a similar role in the Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency industry.
    • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and the Web3 ecosystem.
    • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with ecosystem partners and internal cross-functional collaboration to drive project execution.
    • Understanding web2 and web3 consumer trends - behaviors, preferences, and expectations of users within these distinct internet paradigms.
    • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing growth strategies.
    • Highly organized and capable of autonomously managing multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, adapting to rapidly changing dynamics.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.

    • Ability to work remotely and accommodate different time zones as needed.
    • Relocation may be offered with the potential to move to London or New York.
