About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and play a key role in supporting our organisation’s financial operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations, whilst maintaining robust financial controls. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to solve unique problems on a daily basis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to an exciting organisation at the forefront of innovation.

How you can make an impact:

    • Managing in-house and outsourced accounting and financial reporting for the holding company, as well as various subsidiaries and related entities, including in the Cayman Islands and elsewhere
    • Coordination and oversight of the consolidation and Group reporting deliverables
    • Production of Group KPls and dashboards, board packs and investor presentations
    • Group direct tax, Transfer Pricing and inter-group service agreements
    • Establishing and supporting best-practice cryptographic asset accounting and record-keeping across the Group
    • Own the liaison, coordination and support of Group external audits
    • Ownership of the registration and licensing of internally generated Intellectual Property (IP)
    • Assisting with Finance activities including investments, investor relations, managing finance policies
    • Preparing financial statements and assisting with drafting the management discussion and analysis for quarterly and year end filings
    • Ensure proper Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) exist and are adhered to; implement any changes to the standards
    • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, Group consolidation and translation files
    • Preparing financial and Management reporting of various balance sheet, income statement accounts and cashflow monthly
    • Supporting preparation of investor relations deliverables
    • Assist with review oversight or management of and approval of month end close
    • Assisting with complex accounting issues including accounting for acquisitions, intellectual property, investment valuations, fund accounting, digital assets, licensing transactions, stock-based compensation, translations, and consolidations
    • Reconciling tax accounts and submitting statutory filings, if required
    • Assisting tax consultants on income tax filing

Let's connect if:

    • ACA, CPA or equivalent accounting professional qualification
    • 5 + years of experience across Accounting or Audit
    • Tech, DeFi or Crypto industry experience preferable
    • Experience working across multiple global jurisdictions
    • Advanced understanding of IFRS + US GAAP and closing/reporting processes. Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements is desirable
    • Proficiency with Data modelling and analytical tools. Experience with Netsuite is preferred
    • Collaborative team player, able to work with colleagues across multiple time zones
    • Passionate about contributing to the growth and success of a cutting-edge tech organization
    • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results with minimal supervision
