About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Web Python Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain modern web applications. This role is a great opportunity to grow your skills in Python development, learn best practices, and contribute to real-world projects alongside experienced engineers. You’ll collaborate with senior developers and technical leads to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions that power our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to implement web features and fix bugs
- Assist in designing and developing backend services using Python and Django
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code following team standards
- Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to improve your coding practices
- Help test, debug, and optimize web applications for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA) to deliver features on time
- Contribute to documentation and help improve internal tools and workflows
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience (or strong internship/project experience) in Python web development
- Familiarity with one or more web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Basic understanding of databases and ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, Tortoise ORM)
- Experience with Git and an understanding of collaborative version control workflows
- Eagerness to learn about CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps practices
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Willingness to engage in full-stack development and contribute across the stack as needed
