Working in our small but rapidly growing data team you will work closely with our Data Engineers, Business Intelligence team (BI) and key stakeholders in the business including the Chief Marketing Officer.

The data engineering team are focused on the infrastructure and architecture of our data, our BI team provide the business with the dashboards and data collection and production, and our Insights Analyst team analyses and communicates relevant insights focused on operational efficiencies and profitability. 

This role will have a strong bias on marketing insights but working in a small team means you will get broad exposure across the business.

Work on the latest tech (snowflake, snowplough, testlab, etc)
We are a heavily paid for bidding business and you will work on projects that are highly visible, can rapidly add value and work closely with the C-suite team
Help us on our AI journey (measuring AI algorithms, etc)

What you'll be doing:

    • Work with a range of tools to create and produce a range of analysis to help us understand what we should be doing more or less
    • Conduct deep-dive analyses to extract actionable insights to maximise a number of commercial outputs (ROAS, marketing efficiencies, etc) improving campaign effectiveness and efficiency
    • Create, track and prepare a wide range of reports that are accurate, clear and commercially focused
    • Apply expert analysis and commentary to marketing insights and use this analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions
    • Work with the BI Analysts and Data Engineers to support continuous improvement of data quality
    • Source, collect and extract data that is accurate and fit for purpose, working with developers to configure, test and update configurations

Skills and experience you will need to be successful in the role:

    • We are looking for a data all rounder, someone who can build the models and read them and talk FP&A, BI and Data Science depending on the stakeholder
    • Degree educated in a relevant subject (Stats, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, etc)
    • Solid experience working in a data science or marketing analytics role in an international fast paced consumer business
    • Experience within a scale up business is advantageous
    • Solid experience working with marketing teams to support growth through insights
    • Thrive in a fast-moving and quickly changing environment
    • Proven track record driving business growth through being able to identify key insights and commercial drivers from data
    • Ability to communicate complex findings to key stakeholders in a simple way, with excellent data visualisation and storytelling skills
    • You will need to enjoy engaging and influencing through data, a variety of stakeholders to help make positive changes  
    • Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) and Tableau (essential)
    • Experience of Incident / Problem or Change Management reporting tools (essential)
    • Google Cloud business suite management experience (desired)

Working Patterns
We are extremely proud of our culture and believe in the many benefits that being in the office provides - all our roles require regular time in our office in Hammersmith.
 
We do not offer fully remote roles but we support hybrid working wherever possible (3 days in office, 2 days from home). However, to meet the needs of our customers and business operations many of our Operational and Commercial roles are fully office based.
