Position Summary
 
The Team Assistant Sales (TAS) is a member of the cross-functional affiliate team supporting activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as an integral part of Amicus in bringing innovative medicines to patients with rare diseases.
The position will be based in Munich and report into the National Sales Manager.
 
The TAS will support the National Sales Manager and the Sales team and provide back office support for the Swiss affiliate in all aspects of their work, in compliance with all Amicus policies and procedures as well as local regulatory and legal requirements.
The TAS supports the execution of local tactics for all Amicus products, e.g. managing HCP contracts for assigned local and National educational events, track orders and sales performance based on assigned tasks by the National Sales Manager & Commercial Director, organize team meetings for the Sales team and manage financial processes (purchase order, invoicing) for the Sales team.
The TAS will serve as a back up for other Team Assistances, mainly in office management.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

The Team Assistant is responsible for:
·        Back-Office for the Sales team including coordination of team meetings and support in assigned projects.
·        Back-office support of the Swiss affiliate except for medical events
·        Administration of internal approval processes including contracting, contract tracking and documentation for assigned educational events
·        Coordination of HCP sponsoring for conference attendance and Amicus standalone educational events incl. administration of internal approval processes, local/international alignment, contracting, contract tracking and documentation
·       Management of various order and sales reports, sales and order analyses and regular communication of updates
·        Coordination of internal approval processes for material for external use from all departments
·        Support of general Amicus processes (e.g., expense reporting) and serve as a back-up for the Office Manager
·        Collaborate and effectively communicate with all Amicus functions across the organization

Requirements
 
Professional Work Experience Requirements
·        Relevant experience in advanced administrational role preferred, ideally within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry and a record of significant accomplishment
·        Knowledge of contracting processes and track record of preparing and updating performance reports
·        Familiarity with industry codes and compliance standards in pharmaceutical industry preferred

Professional Work Experience Requirements
·        Ability to continuously deliver high-quality, accurate results in a timely fashion
·        High proficiency of German and English language
·        Professional knowledge and usage of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
·        Excellent verbal/written communication and listening skills
·        Proven planning and organizational skills
·        Basic knowledge of applicable German pharmaceutical regulations as well as other industry rules and guidelines
·        Proven ability to collaborate with all team members in a cross-functional set-up
·        Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with external stakeholders of different seniority levels
·        Engaged team-player, thrives in a team environment
